Sponsors and Partners
Deptford Pride is made possible with the generous funding from the following organisations.
Culture Seeds is a £1m micro-grant programme from the Mayor of London. It aims to support grassroots community-led arts, culture and heritage projects across the city.
National Lottery Awards for All help fund projects which make a difference to communities.
METRO is an equality and diversity charity providing health, community and youth services in England. METRO will have a lead stall in Deptford Pride 2019 so do pop along and find out more about them.
Lewisham Council awarded us funding in 2018 and which continues to help us in 2019.
We also rely on our partnering organisations who have offered advice and in-kind support.
The Albany Theatre has been a Deptford institution since 1894, and has supported the local LGBT community for long before it was as socially accepted as it is today; from its inclusive programme of theatre events to its weekly or monthly OutDance club nights of the 1970s and ’80s. We’re incredibly thankful for their support for equipment and venue hire as well as logistics support.
Deptford Lounge is an award-winning community hub with a range of services and facilities available for all to use including a public library, computer labs, study areas, a café, room hire and a roof-top ball court.
For over 150 years, Deptford market has welcomed traders and shoppers from a rich diversity of backgrounds. The team are proud to be continuing the markets cultural heritage by supporting this year’s Deptford Pride being held on Giffin Square.
The creative identity of Deptford Pride has been designed by Polari Design, an independent graphic design and branding agency based in Deptford.
